Hopefully, No More Heroes III Runs Better on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC
No More Heroes III is no longer a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Travis Touchdown’s third rank-climbing romp (and perhaps final?) will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year.
Grasshopper’s action title is now available through a partnership and XSEED Games. The publisher is publishing the port. The console edition will include a CD soundtrack and an art book. There will also be a day 1 edition for consoles with the title.
I was a Switch user who reviewed the original Switch version and loved it very much. Now, I am curious to see if the game will look and run significantly better on higher-end hardware. Even that seems like an unfair assessment of the Switch’s capabilities. The worst sections of No More HeroesIII didn’t look nearly as bad as those Switch games. It’s unclear if the Switch’s hardware will be more powerful, but I would like No More Heroes to look less like a Wii game for large portions of its playtime.
If No More Heroes games were played on your Xbox or PlayStation consoles, you might want to catch up on No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle. This game never made it to either of these platforms. However, it’s available on Switch and PC. Travis Strikes Again is a spinoff released on Switch and eventually PS4. This is a great way to catch up on No More Heroes III’s story. If you want to get into the final act, at least check out those games on YouTube.
