The free version allows you to play as either a Warrior, or a Rogue. It has 30 areas, 29 complete quests (some partially), and around 30 hours of gameplay. There is a level cap that corresponds to the available areas.
Full Version: A single in-app purchase unlocks all content forever (no microtransactions). Includes 146 areas, 97 quests, plus randomly generated quests, over 400 dialogues, over 130,000 words, and 120+ hours of gameplay. The full version also unlocks Iron-Man (permadeath), and allows you to choose between the Cleric or Mage classes.

Story introduction – A dark tale and a brave, new world

Today, the survival of the ragtag kingdoms in harsh lands is difficult. They often wage war against each other. Many people think of Empire and the Horrors as fairytales. As a novice adventurer you are not interested in such ancient stories. You’re more focused on your misadventures or lack of gold.
Luck seems to be on your side for once. A letter was sent from New Garand to you confirming that you are the sole beneficiary in a large inheritance. Although you don’t know any relatives living in the capital of Kingdom of Versilia this won’t prevent you from taking advantage of an opportunity like this. You will discover many surprises on the road to New Garand and learn that legends and fairytales can actually be very real.

The game will still work if you deny the permissions after installation. However, you won’t have access to these options.
